Nederland defeated Italy in firs round of Group C of Euro 2008. Nederland opened the winning in 26th minute. The crossing from Sneijder was continued to be a goal by Van Nistelrooy. The second goal was created by Sneijder, and the third goal was created by Van Bronckhorst.
